AMC 6.0 - Air Jerneh Children Ministry




This is our 6th Agape Mobile Clinic event. This time we went to a Xin Cun (新村，a.k.a. Chinese New Village) in Air Jerneh, roughly 30 minutes from Bandar Chukai, Kemaman town. This time, we do more on children ministry, the Kemaman Chinese Presbyterian Church (KMPC) brought the Sunday school kids along to join their Sunday school.

It is a really good thing to join both Sunday school together. The kids in Air Jerneh were so energetic!! They sang the songs out loud and dance gracefully. Compared them to KMPC kids, our kids are much more silence, quiet and shy.



Well... I do hope the energetic aura will influence the Kemaman kids too. We have to be more active in Christ. In fact, none of the kids from Air Jerneh Sunday school are Christian!! Credit to Aunty Janet who spend time to educate and bring them up in Christ.

We do involved some basic health education such as deworm, oral hygiene instructions and hand wash technique.

The whole event is end up with a light lunch. If you have a chance to visit Air Jerneh, do go and try their wild boar curry and pandan coconut. It is famous!!

如何操练自由敬拜？

昨天（20/09,星期五）在龙运Elim Harvest Assembly，主办了环球敬拜日工作坊 （Global Worship Day Workshop）。为了迎合马来西亚各州属的团结合一，环球敬拜团员特地从吉隆坡北上，到了龙运，给我们半天的培训。这环球敬拜团员的宗旨是为了让各州属每年的一天能够献上24小时的时间敬拜赞美上帝。其中有吹号角（shofar）、赞美舞蹈、领唱、声乐、鼓、吉他、音响系统与钢琴。 我参与了领唱工作坊。 导师给了我们分享她带领敬拜的经历，也让我们知道敬拜的威力不输给单单的祷告。 导师自认，大城市与小城市不一样。 在大城市里，大家涌着要到台前来敬拜赞美。 而小城市，只要有心人前来服事，教会都很感激了，即便他不很会唱歌。 好的敬拜赞美不是在于你歌声有多好听，或音响有多宏亮。 而是在于你能如何把耶稣在你敬拜赞美中表达出来。 试想，当一个新人来到你的教会，你的敬拜在他心里传递了什么样的信息？ 敬拜不是为了经历上帝，而是一个经历上帝后显现出来的回应。 Worship is not an encounter with God. Worship is a response to the encounter with God. 敬拜为父的祂，回应祂的爱，赞美祂，高举祂。 我们这作领唱的，我们在敬拜什么？ 以下是一些领唱需要关注的一点： 1. 与众席连接，在敬拜前，敬拜中，敬拜后有眼神接触。 2. 领唱需要唱出感动。唱那首圣歌，如同是你写出来一样，把精意唱出来。 3. 在选择歌曲时，要事先了解那首歌的含义。不要因为好听而选择，少部分敬拜赞美歌曲会有让人质疑的歌词。 4. 不是每一个敬拜赞美一定要说点话才行。只在该说的时候说出来。我们要给上帝空间和时间与众席对话。 5. 说话的时候，要说得清晰与有信心。不要犹豫。 6. 敬拜赞美的时候要警醒，不要一直闭目。 7. 带领众席，可是不要过头。不要催逼众席跟随你的指示。 8. 要有榜样的敬拜。要让众席看见你敬拜的热诚。若领唱没做好榜样，就会绊倒众席。 9. 不要太严肃，同时要有敬畏之心。敬拜是庆祝上帝的美好，要以享受与欢乐之心去敬拜。 10. 接受反馈。 在这工作坊中，我有好多疑问。 虽然没能问到导师，上帝却安排另一位他们的队员（陈先生）在我载送的车...
